Oral talk (≈ 1 hour with questions and answers) at the Applied Computing Seminar divided into two parts. The first part was about my PhD research, comparing traditional machine learning and deep learning applied to galaxy morphology. On the second part, I talked about computer vision and video analytics projects I’ve been working on at the Accenture’s Applied Intelligence division.

Two classes (about 1 hour each with questions and answers) at the Video Analytics Academy of Accenture. The first class presented: introduction on machine learning, differences between traditional machine learning and deep learning, preparing the dataset for a learning problem, and main aspects of an artificial neural network. Organized the second class to have three parts, with an overview of different video applications with deep learning, and two hands-on applications (these two workshops were presented by two colleagues).
Academic Tutor for Undergraduate Course, Federal University of the State of Sao Paulo (UNIFESP-Brazil), Science and Technology Institute, 2018
The role of a tutor is of paramount importance in this course on Algorithms and Data Structure 2. I was remotly available for the students fulltime and available in person two times a week. Also, I prepared, revised and graded theoretical and practical exercises.
